Fourteen year old fashion diva Tavi Gevinson embraces feminism

Too many girls of her generation, she says, shy away from identifying themselves as feminists for fear of association with negative stereotypes. But, explained Tavi at IdeaCity, “You’re doing something just by identifying yourself as [a feminist] because you’re changing the stereotype. You’re showing that a bunch of different people can be one.”

Gloria Steinam would love this girl, she represents hope for the future of feminism. She is like a voice in the wilderness of those who think feminism is dead. Check out this article

Entering a new phase of life – an inspiring story

 Diana Athill, British writer share her experience of moving from her own home into an “old people’s home” and the surprising freedom she feels. She found out there is no need to worry, although it was a painful decision she had to make when she was basing her decision on the unknown.  Perhaps she might find much more time to write, not having to do all the mundane chores for herself anymore. One of life’s perhaps second to the last passage and as Ms Athill shows, it can be done with grace.  This is a very inspiring story and I would encourage you to read it. You can be successfully producing at any age!
