At Anti-Gay Rally in NYC Rev. calls Gay People ‘Worthy of Death’

Isn’t this a hate crime?  Is it okay to hate some segments of society and not others? If the headline were Kill all Jews or Kill all Blacks, there would have been an outrage but here a man of the cloth urging his congregation to hate.  I wonder what would have Jesus done in this case?  I know he would have said Father forgive them for they know not what they say. Jesus was love. God is love. God does not need his creation to judge others only God Almighty is the judge. Where is the God inside of you gay-hating people? The people you are spreading hate about are someone’s child, someone’s brother or sister, father or mother; they did not just appear in the world. They have those who love them and you should respect that even if you cannot show them love.

Rev. Ariel Torres Ortega of Radio Visión Cristiana said that the gay people are “worthy of death”:  Is this man fighting his own gayness and wish himself dead?  Research shows those who shout the loudest anti-gay rhetoric are gay.

Committing sexual acts between man and man. And receiving the retribution of the things that they have done from straying away. And because they did not take God in count. God gave them over to reprimand their mind to do things that are not right, being against all justice, fornication, perversity, aberrations, malignity…those who practice such things are worthy to death, not only do they do it, but those who also practice it. God bless this earth. That is the word of God.
