An African from Uganda is tipped to take over the highest position in the Church of England when the current Archbishop Rowan Williams retires in December 2012.
The Right Honourable John Tucker Mugabi Sentamu already occupies the second position within the hierarchy of the church and if the hunch is correct he would be the first Black person to hold such a position in the history of the Church of England.
To get there Setamu had to escaped Idi Amin’s jail cell, endured racism in England and rejected a role in a Broadway show. He is a man of strong faith and determination.
Let’s wait and see.
