What happened in Vancouver is sickening and disappointing for many law-abiding citizens. The hooliganism has shamed people who love and take pride in their city and what a beautiful city is Vancouver.
Charging all those involved is not enough and does not do anything to deter crime and criminal behaviour of this type. I believe that those who are found guilty should be made to pay for the repairs of all they have damaged. Taxpayers should not have to pay for these senseless acts of spoiled people. If it takes them a life time to repay it, so be it. This to me will make others think long and hard if they want to be saddled with a mortgage even before their first real job.
In Canada, the penalty hardly fits the crime instead we try to find excuses for bad behaviour. Let them pay I say.
