Get the troops ready to battle America’s home-grown terrorists

Representative Gabrielle Giffords, Arizona

Giffords vandalized office

Is this America, land of the free?  Free for whom the Bullies?

The Republicans are trying to cause mass hysteria among their constituents because they have lost the healthcare fight. I think they are forgetting they have lost the last elections and lost it badly because of their ineptitude.

Just because the Republican right-wing bullies did not get their way, they have started their terrorist attacks on law-abiding citizens.  Is this what freedom is about? Is it for those who shout the loudest or those who walk around the country with their tea leaves and guns trying to work magic when they obviously do not have the authority to lead America? They lost the last election for a reason. The American people have lost confidence in their ineptitude and one-track perspectives – war, war, war and more war.

Then comes Barack Obama with his promise to shake things up and the Republicans cannot stand the heat.  All that they are doing since Barack took office is to try to trip the man as he runs to the aid of American people.

Come on you guys, this is America, and it is a democracy, not some dictatorship. The rule of law applies as well as democratic principles. The healthcare bill has been passed. Howl if you want but get over it like big boys and stop your whining trying to whip up frenzy in good but naieve people. You are playing with fire!  Pickets slogans like “We come unarmed this time” is a clear threat of war and ought to be taken seriously by the FBI and CIA who are on the look out for terrorists.

Instead of fighting terrorists in Iran, Afghanistan, Israel, Palestine and everywhere Republicans see terrorists, America might have to start gathering the troops to fight its own home-grown hate-mongering terrorists.

This childish behaviour by grown old men politicians  is appalling – they should be ashamed of themselves – calling someone baby-killer, communist, threatening to kill the children of those who voted for the bill –  is a low blow even for lowest grade of politicians. It’s like the guy who can’t get his way on the play-ground – what do they do? Resort to violence because  of their low self-esteem and their petty egos have been pricked.

You erring law-makers! stand up like men, worthy of being in the White House – wait your turn to lead then do what you think is right then. While you are fighting this healthcare bill that will help American people, a lot of folks are still bleeding from the mess left by Mr. George Bush and the Republicans. Let’s get on with the clean up of this mess please.

Here are some statements by people who should know better:

“Congressman Stupak, you baby-killin’ ******. You turncoat son of *****.  I hope you bleed out your a**, got cancer and die, you **********. You do not, not, say that you are pro-life and then for a few bucks do turncoat and hurt the country you *****. I hope you die.”

“You are a bastard and a baby-killer. You will rue the day you did this, Mr. Stupak. You are a disgusting man and I hope you’re haunted the rest of your living days because you won’t be a Congressman much longer. So you are a dirtbag and the country loathes you. And God. Bastard that you are. We think you’re a devil and you will go to your grave with this on your conscience. Was it worth it, selling your soul?”

“Stupak, you’re a low-life, baby-murdering steaming pile of crap. You and your family are scum. You oughta fill your pockets with lead and jump in the Potomac. Punk. That’s what you are…you’re a piece of crap. We despise you and every punk like you, Stupak.”

“Congressman Stupak you are one big piece of human ****.  There are millions of people across the country who wish you ill and all of those thoughts projected on you will materialize into something that’s not very good for you. We don’t have to do anything but sit back and wish. Go to hell you piece of ****.”

Slaughter, who played a prominent role in passing the historic legislation, has blamed Republican leadership for “fanning the flames,” reports USA Today.

“My wife still can’t answer the phone,” stated Stupak, because it’s “full of obscenities if she leaves it plugged in. In my office, we can’t get a phone out. It’s just bombarded.” According to ABC News, the obscene attacks to Stupak included:

  • “You will rue the day you did this, Mr. Stupak.”
  • “You are a disgusting man, and I hope you’re haunted the rest of your living days.”
  • “You and your family are scum. You ought to fill your pockets with lead and jump in the Potomac.”

House Minority Leader John Boehner of Ohio denounced the misconduct, stating in The Associated Press: “That’s not the American way.”
