Well the news is out Howie Mandel host of Deal or no Deal was taken to hospital for a checkup after his heart beat slowed to a snail pace. It’s not a heart attack people so don’t bother to start worrying yourselves for nothing. I am sure Howie will be back shelling out dough for all the gamblers out there.
Prince Harry has some growing up to do.
What’s up with Prince Harry anyway! Why is he being such a snot. While it is no secret that racism in England is alive and well, we do expect a higher level of acceptance and sensitivity from our future king. He has accepted the privilege into which he was born so he has to accept the responsibilities that go with that and being a spoiled brat is not part of it. The Prince has been caught on tape referring to his fellow soldier as “Paki” a derogatory and racist name for people from Pakistan. Blacks in the army has also claimed to have experienced racism in the army. I am glad to see that the queen is outraged by his behaviour.
American Idol off to a good start
It was same on same oh. Lots of people getting on TV as publicity stunt. One hopeful took a verbal swipe at Kara when Kara was trying to sing the song better that the contestant but the contestant said that Kara was not better than her. Kara stood up to defend her honor. However the young woman who did her audition in a skimpy bathing suit was good enough to go to the next level in spite of her rude comment.
To be honest, I can see the end of American Idol in sight. The jump off rating was the lowest according to the pundits. This particular craze may have lost its ummph. Last night’s highlight was the new addition Kara DioGuardi – she was a breath of fresh air. Paula also looked a little rested up for a change. We’ll see.
